Security

Security is at the very heart of our composite doors, protecting you, your possessions and your family. Our doors are engineered with impact resistant GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) combined with a rigid polymer sub-frame and a high-density polyurethane foam core. Our doors are proven to the PAS 24-1 security standard.

Aluminium Bi-fold Doors

Research has proved it, but even without the science, we all know that natural light is good for us. It improves our mood and makes us healthier. Add fresh air and an inspiring living space and you’re well on the way to life as it should be. Humans weren’t designed to be shut away in dark, little boxes and now we don’t need to be. We can live life, to the full, in beautiful, light-filled, open, airy homes.

Practical

FlowFold’s slim profiles are lightweight but very strong. They are finished using a tough, marine-quality, polyester powder coat, so they won’t corrode or oxidise. Smooth and easy to operate, the panes can be folded internally or externally.  The doors are fully bespoke and configured exactly how you want them. If you just want to pop outside, that’s no problem with convenient, side or central, access doors. For unimpeded access there are low-thresholds and we also offer a rebated threshold for those more exposed areas where extra weather protection may be required

FlowFold isn’t just a durable, hard-working door: it’s a good looking one too. Secure

From toughened glass to robust locking mechanisms, we’ve thought of everything when it comes to security. FlowFold’s access doors feature highly-secure, multi-point locks. The folding sashes are fitted, top and bottom, with shoot-bolt mechanisms and all panes are internally glazed. FlowFold is a fantastic door when it’s open, and it’s a safe, secure door when it’s closed

Insulating

FlowFold protects your home from the weather without relying on ugly, black, rubber seals. High-quality, long-life  EPDM gaskets keep the rain on the outside and weather-brushes prevent draughts.  The aluminium sections are multi-chambered and include a polyamide thermal break to reduce heat loss. We use 28mm, sealed-unit, double glazing made with advanced, low-emissivity glass that can help to improve your home’s passive solar gain.

FlowFold doors are weather resistant to BS 6375 Part 1 and fully compliant with Document L of the building regulations.

Patio Doors 

Patio doors are the ultimate in sleek, uncluttered design. Yet, beneath those good looks lies superb engineering. These doors glide easily on stainless steel tracks and rollers which have been tested over thousands (and thousands) of cycles.  With the security of multi-point hook latches and anti-jacking technology, and the safety of toughened glass, your home and family are protected. Energy-efficient glazing means that you can enjoy all the benefits of a light-filled home and still be warm and cosy. Doors can be built with 2, 3 or 4 panes and configured to suit your home. They are available in a range of colours and woodgrain finishes or the always-stylish simplicity of white.

French Doors

A design classic that never goes out of fashion. French doors have always been elegant, but now, with the advantages of modern materials and thermally-efficient glazing they are a practical and secure addition to any home. They can be built to open inwards or outwards and can include optional extras such as midrails or Georgian bars to suit any style of property or to match any existing glazing. Using multi-chambered PVCu for French doors makes a lot of sense. These doors are robust, suitable for any amount of traffic and require very little maintenance. In addition to that, the slim profiles allow the maximum amount of light into your home.
